Do you love water?  Do you drink water?  Do you fish in water? Are you curious?  Do you like being in a community of creative thinkers?  Do you like to have fun?  Are you inspired by trans-disciplinary thinking bringing visual and literary arts together with science to build new perspectives?


If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should join us in beautiful Salida, Colorado for Wade in the Water, Colorado Art Ranch’s seventh Artposium, on May 21-23.
 
Wade in the Water is a two-day, two-evening event immersing you in the celebration, science, and art of water. Featured speakers and workshops promise to enliven, enlighten, and give you a fresh look at the way we see, use, enjoy, and manage our water.  Experts and artists will join us to share their unique perspectives on this critical issue.
 
Wade in the Water is your chance to meet and learn from, and interact with noted water artists and experts, and includes a special presentation by Colorado Justice Greg Hobbs. He is a co-convener of the western water judges educational project, Dividing the Waters; Vice President of the Colorado Foundation for Water Education; and the author of In Praise of Fair Colorado, The Practice of Poetry, History, and Judging, Colorado Mother of Rivers, Water Poems, and The Public’s Water Resource, Articles on Water Law, History, and Culture.
 
We will be joined by world-famous artist and sculptor, and author of Water Library, Basia Irland. Also presenting is author-scientist Craig Childs, author of The Secret Knowledge of Water and House of Rain.
 
If you thirst for sparkling conversation and effervescent moments of discovery, immerse yourself in this celebration of water.
