Esther is the Water Quality Manager with the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District in Berthoud, Colorado. She completed her Masters degree in Civil Engineering in 1999 from the National Superior School of Hydraulics and Mechanics of Grenoble, France and is a registered Professional Engineering in the State of Colorado. She has been with Northern Water since 1999 where she started as an intern working on water resources planning and forecasting. Her responsibilities then expanded to the areas of water quality and water conservation. She now manages the District's water quality program and leads its water conservation team. Esther is also on the board of the Grand County Water Information Network and the Big Thompson Watershed Forum. Esther was born and grew up in Paris, France and went to college in the French Alps where she became an avid skier. She lives in Old Town Fort Collins with her son Liam.

Of the 25 years Laurie has worked in the municipal water industry, the last 12 years she's spent developing and administrating water conservation programs. Laurie served four years as chair of the RMSAWWA Water Conservation Committee and is past president of Xeriscape Colorado.

Laura Wing, Co-Secretary: Water Resources Analyst, City of Thornton This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it Laura earned a B.S. in Biochemistry at the University of Vermont and moved to Colorado in 1989. She has 18 years experience working for water utilities in water quality, water rights and water conservation. As a water resources analyst for the City of Thornton, Laura implements water conservation programs such as water efficiency incentives, public outreach, annual 5th Grade Water Festival, and irrigation system inspections.

Drew Beckwith works at Western Resource Advocates and is a member of the Water Program staff in Boulder, CO. As WRA’s water policy analyst, he works closely with water utilities, state officials, and partner organizations around the region to find sustainable ways to meet human water needs. Drew helps utilities craft progressive water conservation plans, provides comments on national and state water-related legislation, and researches pertinent water resource topics, such as the interplay of land use and water demands. Prior to WRA, Drew worked at SAIC as a water resources specialist and provided water supply reliability planning services to various utilities in Southern California. Drew also worked at the University of California Cooperative Extension in Ventura and helped agricultural growers reduce nutrient and pesticide loading into local waterways. Drew holds a Master of Environmental Science and Management degree from the Donald Bren School of Environmental Science and Management at the University of California at Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from Colorado College.

Cindy has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines as well as a Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado at Denver.  Her reponsibilities include managing the Commercial, Industrial and Institutional Incentive Performance Contracting Program in which customers are offered financial incentives to install water conservation technologies.

Jeff received his Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is currently pursuing a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Colorado Denver.

Much Jeff's work experience has focused on native and drought tolerant landscapes for over 14 years including Pioneers Park Nature Center, Denver Botanic Gardens, Aurora Parks and Open Space and the Lower Platte South Natural Resources District. For 7 years Jeff has supervised Aurora Waters outdoor efficiency program which specializes in assisting Aurora Water customers become more efficient water and landscape managers through a variety of methods including xeriscape demonstration gardens, grants, rebates, design consultations and free classes. Jeff has been working for the Aurora Water since September 2001.

Stu has been working with utilities and customers in both energy and water efficiency since 1981. Stu's work within the resource conservation field has taken him from New England to Florida and finally Colorado. Since 2001, He has been at the City of Westminster developing and implementing water conservation programs and policy. Stu also manages Westminster's tap fee process.

In 2004, Brenda joined Green Industries of Colorado (GreenCO) as their in-house project manager to promote the Green Industry Best Management Practices (BMPs) for the Conservation and Protection of Water Resources in Colorado and to provide proactive leadership to address outdoor water issues and respond to industry challenges posed by potential water shortages and drought.

Curtis has lived in Western Colorado for 26 years. He has a Master in Horticulture, a PhD in Plant Pathology and is a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor. He is responsible for a 300 member Master Gardener Program, has an active irrigation audit program and conducts research on ornamental water use. His web siteat covers hundreds of topics to include many related to irrigation and how it is related to plant insect/mite and disease problems.

Ruth is a Colorado native and received her Bachelors degree from the Universityof Northern Coloradoin Biology with an emphasis in Environmental Studies.  She has worked as the Water Conservation Coordinator for the City of Greeleyfor since 1997.  In this role, Ruthsurvived the drought of 2002. Working with landscape professionals, she revised the watering restrictions that had been in place since 1907 from a demand management tool to more closely match the landscape’s needs.  In Greeley, water conservation is accomplished by using a combination of watering restrictions, technology, education and soon a water budget.  Ruth’s passion has always been the landscape aspect of conservation.  Before coming to the city, she managed a local greenhouse and garden center and has been a volunteer with the Colorado State University Extension Master Gardener program since 1994.

Kim has been a water resource consultant in the Denver Area for the past 9 years and have developed a wide range of contacts with municipalities, attorneys and water districts. Within the last couple of years her efforts have focused on water conservation. Kim's educational background is in Geology and received a B.S. at Kansas State University and a M.S. at Colorado State University.  Kim enjoys getting outdoors- hiking, biking and running. Not to mention that she has logged in some serious hours gardening in her new yard.

Jean has developed and coordinates the District's water conservation plan and education program for the demonstration xeriscape garden. She provides educational programs throughout the District, which encompasses nine counties. She is a former member of Xeriscape Colorado's Board of Directors.
