Denver Water seeks new Citizens Advisory Committee member
Opening for a West Slope representative on 10-member group
DENVER – Monday, Aug. 5– Denver Water’s 10-member Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) is seeking a new West Slope representative. The volunteer committee advises the utility and its board on a range of issues while encouraging and coordinating public participation in the agency’s policy development.
The appointment is for a three-year term. The CAC typically meets the third Thursday of each month, 5–7 p.m., at Denver Water, 1600 W. 12th Ave., Denver, CO 80204.
To qualify for the West Slope representative, an applicant must have been a resident of Colorado for at least five years, and must reside in Mesa, Delta, Montrose or Garfield County.
Applications are due Monday, Aug. 26, 2019. More information about the CAC can be found on the Denver Water website.
