About this presentation:   Castle Rock has pioneered a “Registration for Landscape Professionals Program” that  raises the caliber of landscape professionals working in Castle Rock.  Through this program and related efforts, Castle Rock has limited the water used on outdoor landscaping in new and existing residential and commercial developments.   This has helped the town manage their limited, groundwater supplies and allow for new developments to continue and succeed.  This presentation will highlight the basic features of the program, the effects it has had on water use and new development, and highlight interesting aspects of the town’s unique efforts in integrating water efficiency with land use planning.
