Position Summary:
In alignment with the mission of the CWCB, the role of the Regional Project Manager is to work with local water users and stakeholders to provide strategic proactive grant outreach partnerships and project concept development to further the progress on the Colorado Water Plan actions and other critical objectives. The Regional Project Manager will conduct outreach on funding opportunities; coordinate with stakeholders on project identification; help identify strategic partnerships for multi benefit projects; assist stakeholders throughout the grant application process including developing scopes of work, budgets, outcomes, and deliverables; act as a liaison and coordinate efforts between CWCB staff and Basin Roundtables; evaluate and coordinate a technical review of all Water Plan Grant applications; recommend Water Plan Grant award funding to the CWCB Director and Board; coordinate with contract administrators during the procurement process; manage grant projects, including site visits, progress tracking, disbursement of funds, and compliance with grant agreements; and manage project closeout and final reporting with grantees.
