Colorado Water Conservation Board:
The Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) exists to advocate the protection, conservation, and development of water of the State in order to secure the greatest utilization of such waters and the utmost prevention of floods for the benefit of the present and future generations of the State of Colorado.
This work unit exists to provide funding and technical and administrative assistance/expertise in the planning, design, and construction of Colorado's water resources through loan and grant funding. The CWCB typically authorizes about 20 new loans each year, in dollar amounts ranging from $100,000 to $100,000,000. The CWCB advocates the protection, conservation, and development of the waters of the state in order to secure the greatest utilization of such waters and the utmost prevention of floods for the benefit of present and future inhabitants of the state.

This position exists to provide technical assistance to the work unit during all phases of water project promoting, planning, financing, contracting, design, and construction with an emphasis on the evaluation of the technical and financial feasibility of the construction of water projects.
