The Town of Basalt is accepting applications for a Public Works Director. This exciting opportunity is responsible for leading a team of ten in the Public Works Department. This position is responsible for providing services to the town related to its streets, parks, water and facilities infrastructure.  This position is part of the leadership team and supports the Town Manager and Town Council with carrying out the Strategic Framework and associated annual work plan with an emphasis on maintaining a high level of service and quality of life for the Town. The successful candidate should possess a team-oriented, collaborative and organized working style, with excellent communication and project management skills, the ability to maintain positive relationships, and responsiveness to the community.
