Colorado water is a vital resource to the millions of people and the wildlife that depend on it. The snow that falls in the Colorado Rockies provides water to people in 18 states. The population of Colorado is forecasted to double by 2050, yet there is no way to double our water supply. We must conserve it. We must protect it. We must Live Like We Love It.
About the Campaign
Live Like You Love It is Colorado WaterWise's statewide, public education campaign on water conservation and water quality. It encourages Coloradans to engage in positive water decisions. It encourages Coloradans to commit to learning about water issues so they can voice their opinions to elected officials and their community on how we should use, manage and plan for an adequate water supply.
Launched in 2014, the campaign emphasizes the emotional connection Coloradans have to our water and encourages everyone to be good stewards to our most vital natural resource.
Government agencies, water utilities and non-profit organizations are activating our campaign to spread important messages about water.
CWW has created a plethora of co-brandable campaign materials with engaging graphics and vital messages. Materials include fact sheets, ads, banners, a social media calendar - and more! We include an outreach guide to help you build or strengthen your water conservation campaign. Read more about our messaging and materials at lovecoloradowater.org.
We also lead annual, public campaign events such as #Bike4Water and #Hike4Water that emotionally engage Coloradans.
