    We need your help.

Colorado WaterWise members Western Resource Advocates and Brendle Group are conducting research, sponsored by the Water Research Foundation, that aims to improve collaboration between the water and land use sectors. By better understanding the current state of collaboration, identifying barriers, and prioritizing appropriate solutions, the research team seeks to produce recommendations, tools, and case studies that can be effectively used by all stakeholders that work at the intersection of water resources and land use.

In partnership with a similar research effort being conducted by the University of Arizona (funded by the Water Environment & Reuse Foundation), a survey is now underway to gather input form stakeholders engaged in the water and land use planning processes. The survey should take about 20-30 minutes to complete (you may save and continue at any time). All answers will be strictly confidential.

We appreciate and value your opinions. If you have a role or stake in the management of local water supply, wastewater, or stormwater issues or services such as a utility professional, urban planner, consultant, stakeholder, or elected/appointed official, please take a few minutes to help advance the science of integrating water and land use planning – you may be a direct beneficiary of our teams’ findings! We want as many responses as possible in addition to yours, so please forward this posting and survey invitation to others within your organization. The survey will be open until August 5, 2016. On completion of the survey you will be entered into a prize drawing to win an iPad Mini.*

    Take the Survey

The research team plans to publish complete results of our efforts in 2017.
