Greeley Landscape Lecture: Worm Composting

  • Wednesday, October 21, 2020
  • 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Webinar

This event is not sponsored by CWW. Additional information and registration available here.

Composting is a practical and convenient way to transform yard wastes into a resource. Worm composting is using worms to recycle food scraps and other organic material into a valuable soil amendment (vermicompost). Learn how to get your own vermicompost system started.

This class will be led by Lauren Sadowsky, Community Outreach and Program Manager at High Plains Environmental Center.

The class is free. Space is limited, and RSVPs are required. This ensures that we have enough seats and materials. Sign up. Registration begins on September 15.

Greeley’s Water Conservation Program offers a Landscape Lecture series to the community. This is one of these events. Visit GreeleyGov.com/LandscapeLectures for more information on all upcoming sessions. Follow the “water” tag on Greeley Calendar to find out more about all of our water and conservation events.
