Dealing with Existing Vegetation for a Turf Conversion Project

Ruth Quade, Conservation Administrator with the City of Greeley, will give a 30-minute presentation on how to kill or remove existing grass and vegetation prior to a turf conversion project. She will share step-by-step instructions for four different options and describe the pros and cons of each.

We will follow Ruth’s presentation with a 30-minute discussion of methods for dealing with existing vegetation during site preparation. If you’ve tried alternative methods, consider sharing the results (good, bad, or ugly).
