Learn how to design and build residential and commercial graywater systems compliant to Denver and Colorado regulations.

Three day, in-person course Rocky Mountain Education Center

October 23-25, 2024. Red Rocks Community College

9 am – 4 pm Lakewood Campus

The course is designed for people with basic plumbing, landscaping, or irrigation skills. You will learn about the concepts required to install graywater systems in the Denver area.

Topics covered in this course:

  • Where Denver area water comes from sustainable landscape practices
  • Plants and products for graywater
  • Distribution field sizing
  • Collection Plumbing
  • Distribution to Landscape
  • Colorado and Denver graywater regulations and permitting future of graywater – indoor reuse systems

This course will include a visit a local, operational graywater system and introduce you to several of the commercially available graywater packaged systems. There will be an optional exam and installation for people wishing to be certified and listed as Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper.
