Native Grass Identification

  • Wednesday, April 15, 2026
  • 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
  • Microsoft Teams

Want to improve your skills identifying native grasses? Join Dr. Maggie Gaddis, Executive Director of the Colorado Native Plant Society, to learn more about Colorado native grasses. We will explore the most common native species and a few non-natives along the way. We will focus on ways to heighten your observation skills, so grass identification becomes easier and fun in any season. We will learn how to use a dichotomous key and iNaturalist in our plant identification efforts.
