Join Colorado WaterWise for a brown bag Lunch 'n Learn event at the city of Aurora. We will have a short presentation and then a panel discussion on the topic of diversity and inclusion in the Colorado water industry with an eye on water conservation professionals. We'll discuss why diversity should be a crucial component in our recruitment; why most of the people we see in conservation in Colorado are Generation X'ers or Millenials and Caucasian; and what we can do to help our industry become relevant and welcoming to all Coloradans.

Our panelists:

  • Summer Waters, Red Rocks Community College, Water Quality Management Program Director
  • Geoff DeMoss, city of Aurora HR Supervisor
  • Shirley Martinez, Diversity and Inclusion Advisor for Colorado Springs Utilities

Bring your questions for our panelists and your lunch!

Presented by:

Note: we have both an in-person and web attendance option. If you are not able to join us in person but would still like to hear the lunch 'n learn topic, please sign up as a web attendee.
