The Horticultural Assistant performs skilled manual and technical work involved in the maintenance of the Aurora Water-wise Garden; assists in coordinating volunteers and educating customers in water-wise principles and techniques; and assists with work planning by scheduling, organizing, and securing materials and equipment for the accomplishment of assigned tasks.

The duration of the work agreement will be from mid-May through mid-September. Successful candidates will be expected to work 40 hours per week from mid-May through mid-August, including Saturdays, with the option to stay on through September 6th if desired.
