Possible Commercial Facility Water Efficiency Training Opportunity

Tuesday, July 11, 2017 11:37 PM | Melissa Brasfield (Administrator)

The City of Fort Collins is exploring a commercial facility water efficiency training. While we currently have a commercial audit program, our auditors have backgrounds in energy as opposed to water. We are hoping with some additional training we will become more proficient in identifying and creating water savings at commercial sites!

The two to three day training would be provided by Michelle Maddaus from Maddaus Water Management in late fall. Michelle is an experienced P.E. who specializes in commercial water audit training and has performed various trainings for energy and water providers across the country.  The training would consist of up to three days of hands-on experience at commercial sites in Fort Collins, Colorado. The instruction time would be a combination of presentations and 3-5 interactive water customer site visits. Participants would receive auditor training of CII facilities, associated training materials, and field experience.

We are interested in opening this opportunity up to others in the community, however due to limited space we want to gauge interest. We would appreciate if you could take a few minutes to fill out the form below or pass along to others who may be interested: COMMERICAL FACILITY WATER EFFIICINCY TRAINING FEEDBACK FORM.

If you have any additional questions email Abbye Neel at aneel@fcgov.com.
