    Job summary: 

    This position exists to manage, process, review, and maintain the Colorado Water Conservation Board’s (CWCB) daily financial activities, including accounting records, production, and maintenance; fiscal condition report preparation, analysis, and interpretation; investigation and resolution of problems occurring within the programs, such as balance variances or missing documentation of past fiscal activities; and reviewing accounting reports and statements to assure an accurate reflection of fiscal conditions for the agency. Complete activities related to fiscal year open and close for the CWCB. These tasks are related to both the agency’s general financial activities (generally covered by the annual long bill appropriations), and review functions related to the CWCB Construction Fund, Severance Tax Trust Fund, Species Conservation Trust Fund projects, and other legislation as needed. The position works with CWCB staff on general service contracts and Severance Tax Operational Fund contracts.

    Job Summary:

    Erie’s Sustainability Division is looking for a friendly, energetic, and positive employee who is passionate about all thing’s sustainability and water. Under general supervision of the Sustainability Manager, the Sustainability & Water Conservation Specialist I  will support general coordination for a variety of complex projects and sustainability programs to help achieve the Town’s Sustainability Plan goals. This position is expected to provide the best in public service to Erie employees, residents, businesses, and HOAs who are interested and participate in sustainability and conservation initiatives the Town offers. The Sustainability & Water Conservation Specialist I will be a local and regional expert in waste diversion, water conservation, planning and development review, and public engagement and outreach strategies. This position will provide technical expertise to both Town staff and the public as well as demonstrate a proficiency in systems-thinking and a commitment to our environment. This position will spend approximately 50% of their efforts on water conservation related efforts and 50% on waste diversion and related education and outreach, and general sustainability. Employee must be able to work on weekends and evenings at special events as needed. All staff are expected to adhere to the Town’s mission, vision, and values of P.R.I.D.E.
